This explains what Tradeline does with information about you and your business.

Who we are

Tradeline.

What we hold

Business details — name, trade, town, phone, email and website — either given to us through our demo form, or taken from public sources such as Companies House and business listings. We also keep a record of our contact with you, and whether you've opened a demo link we sent.

Why

To build and send you a demo website and follow up about it. If you asked for a demo, we rely on your consent. If we contacted you first, we rely on our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses — and we follow the rules on business marketing, including checking phone preference registers before any unrequested call.

How long

While we're in contact, and up to two years after we last spoke unless you become a client. If you ask us to stop, we keep only your contact details on a do-not-contact list, so we never contact you again by mistake.

Your choices

Every message we send has a link to stop hearing from us. You can also ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
